Warm-Up 1



This is the post to which you add your Warm-Up 1 task as a Comment (i.e. click on the Comment button below). When you add your Comment, don't forget to write your name on the post! You'd be amazed how much detective work I sometimes have to do to find out who actually wrote the comment!

Warm-Up 1 asks you to write a personal presentation for a web site. This is a general message that goes out to everyone who visits the web site of the new company you've just got a job with. I.e. it needs to be informative, but a bit general - and a good piece of advertising for your new employer. In other words, you need to show how smart your new employer is for hiring you!

You'll find a couple of useful links on the Warm-Up 1 page: one from the 'How to Do Things' site with some general advice, and an example of personal presentations from the Ericsson company.

You'll also find the 'Warm-Up 1 and Send-In 1' Podcast to be of help too.

When the Warm-Ups have all been marked and sent back (by me, David), I'll post a general comment in a post on this blog, with advice for everyone about Send-In Task 1.

  1. Mr. Mikael Gustavsson is the Business Manager at Påryd Projektering HB. He received his Bachelor of Arts from Uppsala University. After his twenty-year career as a councellor at Swedbank, Mr. Gustavsson felt it was time for a change of scenery and moved to Påryd where he was offered the position as Business Manager at Påryd Projektering. In addition to being the Business Manager at Påryd Projektering , Mr. Gustavsson is a regular contributor to Business Manager Quarterly and an enthusiastic fan of music. He recently was awarded an honorable mention in recognition of having his original composition, ”Atmosphere” among the top 1500 of the 17th annual Billboard World Song Contest.   2. Malin Davidsson
    Born 1986.
    Ms. Davidsson received her B.A. degree in Business and Economics from Berkeley in San Francisco, CA, and is currently enrolled at Uppsala University in Sweden where she is acquiring her M.A. degree in Management.
    Previous experiences include working as a management consultant at Ernst and Young and as an intern at the Swedish Consulate in New York. Ms. Davidsson has been an active member in several organizations and has been teaching swimming and baseball.
    Ms. Davidsson’s passions include travelling, cultures and sports. Her interests together with her earlier experiences from living abroad will contribute to further develop the Västervik Experience as Kalmar’s leading tourist information company.

  3. With years of experience of organizational development in an international context, Nina Wertholz leads the Västervik Experience to further excellence as a developer of sustainable tourism in Sweden.

    After completing her BSc in Environmental and Development Studies from Södertörn University College, Nina Wertholz started working as a consultant within development cooperation.

    From her many assignments from reputable organizations and institutions such as Swedish Society for Nature Conservation, WWF and the Norwegian Polar Institute, Ms. Wertholz has acquired a wide range of experience from various fields and countries.

    Besides her professional background, Ms. Wertholz has a deep interest in outdoor activities such as rock climbing and kayaking; activities of high potential in the Västervik area with its many islands and hilly terrain.

  4. Filip Wiltgren
    Business Manager
    With a BA in Journalism from Göteborg University and over ten years of hands-on experience as a journalist, copywriter and web information specialist, Mr. Wiltgren is eminently suited to head Påryd Projektering’s communication efforts. Mr. Wiltgren speaks six languages, is a previous member of Mensa and has achieved a perfect grade on the Swedish Scholastic Aptitude Test. He is the previous head of Online Marketing at the Institute of Technology at Linköping University. An avid reader, writer and game designer, Mr. Wiltgren likes to spend his free time with his wife and children and has previously showcased his work in several major, international venues such as Writers of the Future or GGDC.

  5. David Persson
    Project Manager

    Mr. Persson serves as Project Manager and joined in 2013. Prior to this, Mr. Persson worked as a Salesman and Team Leader at the Norwegian event company Nova Vista AS in Oslo from 2010 to 2013. In 2010, he was awarded ‘Top Salesman’. Prior to this, Mr. Persson served as a ski instructor at Adrenaline in Verbier, Switzerland from 2008 to 2009. As a ski instructor, Mr. Persson taught all levels and ages.

    Mr. Persson holds a BSc. in Business and Economics from Stockholm University. During his studies, Mr. Persson was involved in various extracurricular activities and projects in which he had leadership positions.

  6. Jessica Magnusson

    Our latest addition to The Västervik Experience is Ms. Magnusson. She is a young and newly trained talent who has been handpicked by the company's former manager Åsa Sjödin. She has recently received a bachelor's degree from Study and Career Guidance at Malmö University and has also studied courses such as communication, leadership and tourism knowledge at Stockholm University. Ms. Magnusson also has a lot of experience from working abroad where she, among other things, worked as an au pair in Greece, tour guide in Austria and also as a receptionist in St. Anton, Austria. She has a passion for sport and travel, which with her previous professions makes her an excellent addition to the company.

  7. Sofia Base

    Ms Base, born 1991 in Stockholm, is Västervik Experience latest recruitment. She has recently received her degree in journalism and communication from Medieinstitutet in Stockholm and will now take the role as a Site Manager at Västervik Experience. She will further on be fully responsible for all site development.

    Ms Base is a young and skilful woman who can speak multiple languages and manage multi-tasking while she is sleeping. Back in time she has worked as a journalist for a big newspaper, been a live reporter for one of Sweden's best football teams and worked as an informer.

    Besides her great background she is passionate about sports, which she has done all her life. American football is a big favorite. She enjoys both playing and watching.

    With Ms Base knowledge of sports, experiences and writing, she will be a perfect addition to Västervik Experience.

    Janne has over teen years of experience working as a consultant for different companies helping them understand and getting their products and services to the Chinese market. Janne has just ended a two year assignment in New York where he has helped a small pharmaceutical company with getting the approval for one of the company’s drugs on the Chines market.

Personally, it has to have been when he met his lovely girlfriend that he now have been together, and experience so much with, under the last five years.

    Senior Manager
    With a Bachelor in Advertising and Public Relations Zedendahl will now lead The Västervik Experience to new successes. With interests in sports and more specifically in swimming, her teen years was spent as a swim coach in one of Swedens largest swimclubs, An experience that made her realise the importance in being able to answer to various people and their needs on the market. Now Zedendahl will use her background in Public Relations and knowledge in leadership to bring The Västervik Experience together to work as a team in the new project of opening up the new resort. Zedendahl explains herself as keen, diligent and optimistic.

  10. Marie, Carlsson

    Ms. Marie, born 1983 in Gothenburg, is our new professional Marketing Manager. She will take care of all the marketing techniques and the management for the Västervik Experiences resources and activities.

    Ms. Marie has earlier been working as Project Manager for the Swedish Tourist Council, in Gothenburg, where she had full responsible for the finance, marketing and various projects. She speaks several languages and she has a special education in tourism. She also has received her bachelor degree in Business and Economics from the University in Gothenburg, Sweden.

    Her passion is marketing and sales and she has a special eye for new things. Ms. Marie is very social, competent, and creative and she is an excellent leader. Marie’s second passion in life is to travel with her husband. She loves to explore and find new places, cultures and meet new people. With her professional background and her personal experience in tourism, she will become the perfect Marketing Manager for Västervik Experience.

  11. Therese Evertson

    Mrs Therese Evertson is our newest addition to our amazing Västervik Experience team! She has got a vast and extensive experience within the field of Tourism and she is well known for her abilities to think creatively and to find solutions outside the box!

    In 2004 she got headhunted by Star City Enterprises Inc. directly from the University of Tourism in Östervik where she majored in Tourism Excellence Management. She started out working as a Creative Consultant and in just a few years she had worked her way up to the top position as Tourism Executive Manager.

    Her work is renowned throughout the Tourism industry and her results more or less speak for themselves, but just to mention a few she has won the national Tourism and Travellothon prize in 2010, she more than doubled the amount of visitors to Star City´s World of Experience and she founded the Travel for Life Foundation – a scholarship that is currently helping a large amount of less fortunate young talents through college!

    We are of course proud to present Mrs Evertson as the new Manager of our amazing Tourism Team and we expect her to lead the company to new triumphs! Before long, we will have answers to questions we never even would have asked ourselves, without access to her long and thorough experience and amazing ability to have a clear view, even around corners!

    With a BA in Business and Economics at The College of Charleston, and working with an art gallery’s international clients and PR in Spain, Ms. Guzenko is perfectly suited to the position as Business Manager at Påryd Projektering. She is a language, travel and networking enthusiast with a positive look on everything that life has to offer. This young woman never takes no for an answer and always finds a way to her goal.   15. Mrs. Charlotte Andersson Björkholm has been employed as a Business Developer. She is going to help Alsjöholm Manufacturing to evolved new business process and effectives their existing business processes.
    Education; A Master of Science in Information System Analysis from Linköping’s University and a Degree of Master of Human-Computer-Interaction from Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm.
    Background and practice; Have long experience to work with business developing in different types of companies. It started with rationalizes away the typewriter and substitute them with computers instead. That has giving a long experience to working with change management, and a good understanding to work with people in evolution. Knowledge in most of the quality methods and tools and sees Lean as philosophy not a method.

  16. Emelie Wetterling, born in 1990, is the latest addition to the Västervik Experience. She is currently situated in Gothenburg and spends her free time doing volunteer work wherever she is needed. Her perceptive skills when it comes to people’s needs make her an excellent people person, something that will come in handy as our new senior manager. On a day off she enjoys handcrafting and being outdoors.
    With her Bachelor Degree in Tourism Management she is sure to help this company step into the future. She speaks and writes English, French and Swedish fluently and is not a stranger to travelling.
    Previously she has worked with advertising abroad during a six month long stay in China and she has also been involved in developing a new model for customer relationship management. Owing to this she has excellent skills in marketing, organizing as well as technical support. She is hard-working and very ambitious, which is part of the reason we are glad to have her on board!

  17. We are pleased to announce that our latest addition to Alsjöholm Mekaniska Verkstad AB management team is the previous Purchase Manager of SCA Group, Mr Jesper Banck. Mr Banck is well-known in the industry and will serve not only as a member of the management team, but also as the head of the Procurement Department, overseeing all internal and external logistics processes. In collaboration with our existing team in the Procurement Department we believe that Mr Banck will continue to further strengthen the company’s market share and our strive to be the number one supplier of mechanical small items. We gladly welcome him to the company and we wish him all the best.

  18. Mrs. Hindia Abubeker is born in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia 1973. While growing up Mrs. Hindia learnt two Ethiopian languages. Following her graduation in Addis Ababa she moved to India for further studies at a university in New Delhi. She possesses a unique mix of experiences and skill that will support her to do her job successfully.

    She acquired a deep understanding of manufacturing by working at the furniture supplier. Where she developed good knowledge, of how suppliers work, including with sustainability.

    Moving to Sweden and start working in retail and learnt the importance of having the right range meeting the customer. Mrs. Hindia has an extensive retail and purchasing background in FROST TEC where she in various development positions between1994-2004.

    Mrs. Hindia’s strengths are an ability to work under stressful situation and deliver results. Ability to work with and meet deadlines without compromising on quality of work. Results-driven, logical and methodical approach to achieving tasks and objectives. Determined and decisive; uses initiative to develop effective solutions to problems.

    Mrs. Hindia will bring a lot of competence, experience, always have a contagious and positive energy into Alsjöholm Mekaniska Verkstad as well as into the product development team. With this diverse and broad business experience, Mrs. Hindia will contribute greatly.

  19. We at Alsjöholm Mekaniska Verkstad AB will hereby gladly announce our latets co-worker finally is settled! Isabella Frankenberg, born 1989, a true entrepreneur we have had our eyes on for many years. When she now was on her move from Mexico where she has spent the previous year to acquire her bachelor in International Marketing via Malardalen University, we were certainly eager to recruit her to our team. Isabella herself means she is a humble small town girl that had to leave the nest and search for bigger challenges since the driving force is personal development. “I had started a (youth) company, won the ice-hockey league and earned the money I needed.” The stop over’s have been in Oslo, London, Stockholm and Cancún. What the cities have in common is how they’ve helped her to work her way up in the marketing business. “Hard work always pays off so haven’t seen any reason to politely bushwhack myself to higher positions”. She is getting around the world on Swedish, English and Spanish.
    On her leisure Isabella develop her body at the gym, spend loads of time cooking healthy food, google around for exciting destination and has also for several years been in the board in her housing association.

    It is hard not getting impressed by this young lady and we at this company can’t wait for her to put her energy and influence on our team. Welcome, Isabella!

    HR Director at Alsjöholm Mekaniska Verkstad

    Tomas has broad experience in human resources on both an operative and a strategic level. Tomas previously worked as a HR Strategist at the Swedish armed forces Headquarters.

    His experience in compensation and benefits combined with his analytical skills will be most valuable to develop a remuneration plan to support our work to hire and retain the best product engineers.

    In five years’ time Tomas believes that Alsjöholm Mekaniska Verkstad can increase the turnover by 100 % by taking market shares in more advanced electronic equipment in the high end segment.

    Tomas has a driving personality will be a great addition to Alsjöholm Mekaniska Verkstad to regain profit. On a personal note he enjoys cooking, gym training and ice hockey.

    Mrs Enquist has built up a high level of expertise through many years´ experience within the manufacturing industry. She has previously worked with Direct Sales and Product Development. Mrs Enquist, with her experience from the industry and her innovative nature, is a great resource for Alsjöholm and especially with the creation of new products.

  23. New Business Manager, Påryd Projektering HB
    Ms Siv Karlsson, born 1977 in Stockholm, is our latest recruitment. She graduated from Business Administration, London Business School, in 2002. She has a wide range of experiences from various fields. The first job, when graduated, was as an Accounting Controller at a small Chinese factory in London. Then she worked as a Business Controller at Orty Ltd in Edinburgh for four years and in recent years she has been with Rudiens Ltd, managing one department. Now she is our new Business Manager. When she was a child her family lived six years in India and China, this means she is familiar with culture and language in these countries as well. Her interests are cats, singing in a choir and gardening, when she is not travelling with her family. Her positive energy will be a source of inspiration for our company.

    Born 1979

    Ms. Persson is the new edition to The Västervik Experience and will take on the role of marketing executive. Ms. Persson has a double bachelor degree in tourism science and business administration from Linnaeus University and has also a master degree of marketing from Bond University in Australia.

    Ms. Persson is an ambitious woman, who loves to take on a new challenge and travel the world and experience the local culture and cuisine. This is reflected in her work background, as she has worked in England, Australia and America with marketing at Visit Sweden and additionally as a Project Manager for a travelling agency in Australia.

    With Ms. Persson passion for life and adventure and her work- and academic background she is the perfect addition to take Västervik Experience to the next level.

  25. Laurina Bergqvist


    Ms. Laurina Bergqvist brings extensive experience to her job as Marketing Engineer at Alsjöholm Mekaniska Verkstad. She built a strong technical foundation while earning her Bachelor’s degree in International Business at the University of Texas at Austin. Following graduation, Ms. Bergqvist was recruited into the trainee program at ABB. As project manager, she was a valuable asset in their overseas industrial projects, including clean energy and renewable energy systems. Recently, she held the position of facility manager at General Motors Hot Weather Test Facility in Yuma, Arizona. She is pleased to be back in Västervik, which was the home of her maternal grandparents, and eager to build new ties in the community. Through the years, Ms. Bergqvist has been an active member of Toastmasters International, Rotary International and SWEA, enjoying an active social network.

    We at The Västervik Experience are proud to present our new Project Manager, Mr. Kim Flintvall. Born 1987 in Kristianstad he now holds a solid education in tourism and business economics from the University of Kalmar. He has filled his personal backpack with a lot of experiences from travels and tourist destinations from around the world.

    Mr. Flintvall have a passion for travels and is always curious of what's around next corner. He like when he finds himself up the mountains in Peru, glancing over the Machu Picchu, sitting on a plastic footstool enjoying Vietnamese noodle soup or meeting those indigenous people in the jungle of Borneo. As you can tell Mr. Flintvall is adventurous, ambitious and forward striving which will fit perfect into our organization.

    Mrs Pasichna joined Västervik Experience in September, 2013. Her strategic target is to promote Västervik as an excellent recreation area mainly in the countries of Eastern Europe.

    Olga Pasichna has a broad experience both in sales and in advertising. Her motto is “Nihil est difficile volenti” which can be translated as “Nothing is impossible to the one who wants it.”

    Mrs Olga is positive, open-minded and full of energy to lead the company towards new horizons. She likes an active lifestyle, outdoor activities and travelling.

    Erica turned her BA in Fine Arts into a lucrative 20 year career in marketing. As senior creative at ad agencies including Anderson & Lembke, Stockholm and BBDO, San Francisco, she successfully strengthened brand awareness and increased product sales for B2B companies such as Sandvik, and Solna Offset; Apple Macintosh International, and Hewlett-Packard. Erica has joined Alsjöholm Mekaniska Verkstad to build and grow the brand internationally with specific focus on emerging markets. She is an avid consumer of the arts and a strong believer in creativity as a motor to industrial growth and intercultural communication. Her marketing philosophy is built upon increasing the visibility, credibility, and profitability of our brand with the overall goal of continued growth and sustainability.

  29. Mrs Madeleine Norell
    Marketing and Communications Manager

    Mrs Madeleine Norell has just completed her studies in media and communication science, marketing and leadership development at IHM Business School and at the University of Uppsala and Stockholm. Her professional expertise includes information, marketing, sponsorship, sales and business finance, both on management and on executive level. Mrs Norell has been working with major tourist events as World Championship in Ice hockey, European tournaments in golf and with the tennis tournament ”If Stockholm Open”. She has also worked with the media, arranged conferences for the press and have led network, for the Market Association in Stockholm, in both PR and Corporate Social Responsibility.
    Knowledge of importance for Mrs Norell, in her daily work, is to put focus on customer service and professional collaboration with stakeholders, and through that create good PR. To work for sustainable development is something she strongly believes in. She also strongly believes in Västervik as one of the major tourist destinations in Sweden and her new job here at The Västervik Experience makes her feel privileged. We, at The Västervik Experience, feel the same for Mrs Norell, that it is a privilege to have her with us. It is our strong belief that Mrs Norell, with her professional background and her wide range of competence, will strengthen our management on a very valuable way.

  30. Caroline Söderberg
    Senior Manager

    With a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and a Master’s degree in Logistics – Caroline Söderberg recently joined Alsjöholm Mekaniska Verkstad AB to help bring the company into the global market.
    Her background in customer service and marketing, together with her attention for details will help bring this company into the future as an international company. That she also has an interest in keeping up with the happenings in the industries to get one step ahead will be of great importance for the development of the company’s brand. Caroline speaks Swedish, English, Norwegian and is currently learning Irish.
    On her free time, Caroline volunteers in the community by holding in activities for senior citizens like Wii-games and waffle afternoons. She also makes sure to keep her skills up to date by taking distance learning courses in different academic areas.

    Hello, my name is Oscar Holm, and I am the newest addition to the management team here at Påryd Projektering. I have worked with many different companies throughout the years; everything from small team projects to large scale large corporations. My latest assignment was as a senior project manager at Microsoft where I stayed for almost 3 years. I am also the co-founder of Holm & Co. Consulting AB, one of the largest business consulting agencies in Stockholm. With my experience and leadership, together with the extremely competent workforce of this firm, I will guide Påryd Projektering through its expansion to become the leading projecting firm in Sweden.

  32. Mrs Annsofie Einarsson Haltta is our new team member of Påryd Projektering HB. Born in Västerås, Sweden 1980. Mrs Einarsson Haltta has studied Business and Administration and her many years of working as a VVIP lead flight attendant for the Royal Family will be an asset to the company.
    Her eye for details and strong ability to adapt plus her leadership skills will benefit our company as our new project manager. Beside her cultural experience from living and working in countries like: Spain, Saudi Arabia, U.A.E, Norway, Sweden and America she has a passion for yoga and living healthy although chocolate is part of her healthy living. Her family and friends are close to her heart and she just started to learn how to bake. On the rest of her free time she is devoted to help others by doing volunteering work.

  33. Mr. Saeid Sayadi
    Senior Manager

    The Västervik Experience is proud to present the newest member of our management team.

    Born in Iran and raised in Sweden from infant age, Mr. Sayadi graduated with a bachelors degree in Economics and Business studies from Uppsala University before he went living in Southeast Asia for several years. There he was working and involved in several successful tourism development project before he decided to move back to Sweden and join our management team.

    Speaking multiple languages, such as English, Swedish, German, Farsi and Bahasa Indonesia combined with a strong international experience, we at The Västervik Experience truly believes he will be a strong asset and very valuable to our management team.

    We are working hard to recruit outstanding co-workers to Påryd Projektering and we are delighted to announce the appointment of our new Business Manager: Mrs Lisa Lind Ahlberg.

    In recent roles Mrs Lisa Lind Ahlberg has driven several successful global Systems Development Projects. She has a M. Sc in Informatics (Gothenburg University 2001) and is well familiar with Systems Development, Systems Analysis and Business Analysis as well as Project Management. Her strengths include creating productive teams, capturing customer needs, balancing customer needs to budget and never loose focus on delivering business value. She holds a Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt and is continuously looking to improve things.

    In her new role Lisa will be responsible for managing the ”Chinese Contract”. Her social skills and genuine customer focus along with her broad ranging experience makes her perfect for the role.

    Given she is a mother of three she´s also a master of multitasking according to herself. Family life is a priority but she also has time to collect hoyas and play board games.

    With a Master of Science Degree in Business and Administration and over 10 years of experience of running businesses we are proud to present our latest recruitment, Linnea Rundqvist.
    Linnea born 1978 in Gothenburg have long experiences helping companies to improve their performance and be able to become more efficiently. After she finished her degree she worked as a management consult for one of the leading management consulting firm, McKinsley. The last years she have been working as a Business Manger in a small fast growing company facing the same kind of questions and situations as Påryd Projektledning coming up to.
    In her spare time Linnea likes to cooking, traveling and running. She likes to challenge herself and her newest challenge is Stockholm Marathon next year.

    Linnea was born in 1989 in Stockholm, Sweden. She has a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering and Management degree from Lund University and is specialized within Business and Innovation. While in Lund she gained leadership and board experience through positions such as Chairman of Education Committee and Board Member of the Student Guild. As a part of the master she spent one year at Instituto Tecnológico de Buenos Aires. She also spent a year living in Las Vegas when she was younger. At Påryd Projektering Linnea has the chief responsibility of managing the development of Chinese investments in the region.

  37. Anna Vahlberg
    With over 2 decades of experience of working with sustainability and CSR internationally, Anna Vahlberg will lead the Västervik Experience into the future of tourism, where nature is the central part, in experience and sustainability.
    Ms Vahlberg completed her Master in Textile Technology at the Swedish School of Textiles, where sustainability for the first time caught her eye.
    From her previous employment at H&M, as the manager of the department of sustainability and CSR, Ms Vahlberg obtained a nuanced view of what sustainability is, depending on culture and country she operated in.
    During spare time, Ms Vahlberg prefers to take part in outdoor activities such as triathlon and scuba diving, which she discovered during her year of in Australia.

  38. Ms Sandborg joined The Västervik Experience in August 2013 in the newly created role as Senior Business Development Manager. She has a degree in Economics and her work experience includes the position as Marketing Manager in a multinational company, where she was responsible for the communication with overseas accounts. At The Västervik Experience she will be responsible for the development of projects in the Västervik region and her responsibilities include the communication with local business partners in order to stimulate regional growth. Ms Sandborg speaks Swedish, English, French and German, which will support her in her efforts to bring international customers to The Västervik experience. She is cosmopolitan, likes to travel and her qualifications as well as international experience makes her a welcome addition to our team.

    Sofia Löfberg was born in 1979 and has served as our Business Development Manager since May 2013. She brings over 10 years of experience in Business Development to Påryd Projektering. Prior to joining us, she led the development of the new shopping centre Mobilia at Malmö Stad for 2 years. Before that, Ms Löfberg was for 8 years Head of the Planning Team at AstraZeneca in Lund during a time of major expansions. Ms Löfberg holds a MSc in Civil Engineering from Luleå University of Technology. We are delighted to have Ms Löfberg, who is a positive, ambitious, and fearless co-worker on our team at Påryd Projektering.

    Anna Djurberg is a recent graduate with a bachelor’s degree in international economic policy and finance from one of the top business programs in Sweden and has now worked as a consultant for a recruitment firm in Bahrain resourcing for the legal desk and heading up the banking and finance desk for the past six months. Born in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, she has a very strong understanding of the Middle East and was previously employed by the Swedish Embassy in administration and accounting before coming to Sweden to complete her studies. Anna Djurberg is very much a part of the international community with experience in many parts of the world; speaking English, Swedish, Thai and Arabic fluently, she will now take on the suitable role as Business Manager at Påryd Projektering looking to expand the success of this small business to attract investors from across borders. This will begin with the next phase of development with our newest clients from China investing in the Kalmar region.

    Mrs. Vernerson, born in 1967, has a law degree from the University of Lund and has been recruited by Ella Svedin from Svenska Handelsbanken to strengthen our vision in the area of project management. Her skills in negotiation as well as in the field of risk controlling will help Påryd Projektering HB to grow our business. Påryd Projektering HB will also benefit from Mrs. Vernerson’s distinctive knowledge of the Swedish banking system. Mrs. Vernerson has lived abroad for several years and has experience of meeting people from different cultures which will help her acting as a liaison between investors from other countries and the management.

    Mrs. Vernerson enjoys spending time with her family, husband and two daughters. Her interests are golf, tennis, skiing, biking and travelling.

Robin succeeded with his mission on his latest place of work called The Västervik Experience and was no longer needed at the company for a while, and that's why he's looking for new business to help out. He strongly believes that he can make a huge difference to this company and exploit the marketing in China because of his previous studies concerning Puplic Relationships.

    When Robin's not working he likes to practice sports, associate with friends and music has become a new big interest of his. He is currently in a relationship which makes it hard for him to travel around too much.

    Business Manager (Employed September,2013)

    Niklas received his Bachelor of Business Administration from Umeå University in 2003. He has ten years of previous working experience from both leading and developing projects for Ericsson. The last four of them, he worked with different projects in Asia and South America.

    Niklas has a big interest in learning new things and staying updated. A sign of this is that he frequently read more courses than required for his university program. Niklas also has a good ability to analyse and is fluent speaker in Swedish, English and Spanish.

    On his free time Niklas enjoys to do one of his big interests, which are traveling and exercising. He also likes to watch a game of his favorite football team, Liverpool FC.

She previously worked as a consultant manager assistant at a staffing firm. Andrea has a variety of relevant skills and knowledge gained through her education and experience.     Cecilia Malmgren is the new Business Manager of Påryd Projektering AB. Ms Malmgren recently finished her Master of Business Management at the School of Business, Economics and Law at the University of Gothenburg. As a trainee at an IT consultancy firm, she was involved with Business Development and Strategic Leadership, where she had a significant role of developing strategies for new international markets. Ms Malmgren is highly appreciated for her ambition and optimism, as well as her ability to always be one step ahead and to see possibilities rather than obstacles. To keep her mind focused, Ms Malmgren enjoys performing yoga, and she travels to India as often as she can, to gain inspiration and energy. With her experience and warm personality, Ms Malmgren will be a valuable asset for the future of Påryd Projektering AB.

    Ms Christabel is the new project planner in Påryd Projektering with more than five years of hands-on experience in a wide range of projects cutting across the construction and energy industries. She has a bachelor’s degree in economics from Darlana University Sweden and a masters degree in project management from Stockholm University. Her expertise in the use of sophisticated planning tools and decision support systems makes her capable of effectively handling multiple million dollar projects simultaneously. She is capable of working in environments characterised by panic deadlines and as such can withstand work pressure. This makes her an invaluable asset to this company. Mrs Christabel successfully planned and executed a turn around maintenance (TAM) project from start to finish in an oil refinery. She sourced for refinery spare parts worldwide, requested bids and quotations from manufacturers locally and abroad, generated local and foreign purchase orders and saw to the direct over hauling of an entire refinery while working with a team of highly skilled engineers and technicians. She is competent at managing schedules, resources and costs associated with the various activities in a project. This she achieves through her impeccable timing, updating and optimisation of her entire project plan periodically.
    She leads a very disciplined personal life because she works out by running three times a week which makes her very healthy and fit and as such, she has a very healthy attitude towards work as she is punctual and hardly ever absent from work due to health reasons .She loves listening to music at her free time, does some gardening and plays tennis.

Alsjöholm Mekaniska Verkstad are proudly to introduce our new co-worker J.Sondell, with former experiences from the export packaging industry she will be an excellent addition to our team and will bring a new, more global perspective to the company. Her role in the team will be to lead our European project to expand the business on the European market.

    Previously she worked to maintain and build good relations with B2B customer on the international market. Her strengths include contract negotiations, customer service relationships and product sales. Customer building has followed as a red thread in her career.

    Ms. Sondell obtained a law degree from Stockholm University 2005 and had a vision back in her education years to work with contract negotiations. She likes to spend her free time close to the nature on the horseback or being creative in her own painting workshop. With many new creative ideas, high goals and ambitions for herself and her new team we hope she will be a good addition to the company!

    Charlotta Spik is the latest addition to Råryd Projektering AB. Born in 1994, she graduated from Upper Secondary School in the spring of 2013, were she studied the Technology programme for three years. She has since been working at Ericsson AB having the position as R&D Management Support/verification engineer. During 2013, Ms Spik has also been working as a tutor for students needing help with schoolwork. She otherwise spends her time working with dogs and reading books mostly concerning body language and memory techniques.

    Ms Spik has substantial experience in human relations as well as different aspects of technology, including programming and web designing. She has studied a considerable amount of mathematics, English, physics, psychology, economics and sales and marketing. This together with her working experience entails she has the competence needed for the position as Business Manager at Påryd Projektering AB.

    We are proudly to introduce Emma Färemo, our newest co-worker at Alsjöholm Mekaniska Verkstad. Ms. Färemo has recently graduated from a four-year old Business Administration and Economics Program at Jönköping International Business School. She has a major in marketing, which I know will serve us well in her future challenges within our company.

    Ms Färemo has lived and worked abroad and in addition to that she has lots of traveling experiences. This in combination to her business studies will be an advantage in understanding the international competitors and how to attract more customers. She has good problem solving skills and is good at looking at tasks form different perspectives.   52. Ms. Angelica Fredriksson is the new marketing manager for Alsjöholm Mekaniska Verkstad AB. She was born in the south of Sweden in a town called Helsingborg where she grew up. When she was 20 years old she moved to a new town called Jönköping were she studied at Jönköpings International Business School in the program called Civilekonomprogrammet with a focus on marketing.
    Previously work experience has been in bigger companies such as ICA were she learned a lot about marketing and develop into a good marketer. Now here carrier has taken a new direction and she is really looking forward to work with a smaller company as for Alsjöholm Mekaniska Verkstad AB.

    Påryd Projektering latest addition to the team is Ms. Magdalena Johansson . With a bachelor degree in Nautical Science from the Merchants marine academy in Kalmar 2002 and more than 20 years at sea she is our new Project manager.
    In her two year trainee program from Maersk Shipping she concentrated in the international relations in shipyard/ new build market. At Damen Shipyard in Gothenburg she worked as project manager for a two year period with the best remarks. She has been in charge of both small and big projects in one of the world largest shipyard company. The largest was the rebuild of M/S “Sundance Kid” in 2011.
    We believe that Ms. Magdalena Johansson can give us at Påryd Projektering a new eye on the international market and with the combination of communication skills and global aspect the day to day work in our new team will be more exiting and dynamic than ever. She has both technical and economical skills. Our aim is to be able to offer turn –key projects in 2015, and with Magdalena Johansson we have a long term goal that we are convinced to achieve.

    The condition of the car was under no circumstances acceptable. In the middle of the highway the engine stopped working and because of that I was promised to get a discount and reimbursed $50, which was the cost of the tow truck.

    When I saw my credit card statement I realized that the discount and the reimbursement hadn't been registered.

    As a customer I'm really disappointed with how you handled this case by making me feel uncomfortable and making an inconvenient situation.

    Sharon Valdivia graduated 2009 from Business Administration program at Lund University. Sharon has a Master Degree in Organization Leadership with a specialization in project management from the University of Stockholm.

    After her studies she worked as a project manager trainee at Logent AB. Working with the company made her accomplish her goal which is her passion for hard work and improve her role as a leader. She reached high level in problem solving skills and in forward planning and strategy skills. Two abilities that became valuable addition to her energetic and positive personality.

    Except for in work, she expresses her energy in dancing and cooking. Two hobbies she combines with spending time with her loved ones and also visiting her family in South America.
